This is a great week in B!H history. The stat checker is out. No more will noobs cry to random people. No more will my sarcasm fly over Sparrow's head. No more will threads saying "Where is teh statz checkas???!" be in the forum every few months. No more will those threads get turned into random flame wars (mostly cause by me). Anyway, on this thread, post the things that will be different. Go ahead, anything. Don't accuse me of spam, there seem to be less than 5 active threads. ---------------------------------------- If you're like me, then you should probably seek help. NOW. Leafsnail - now 32% less like talking to a brick wall. |

Hey, if people are willing to be banned by breaking the Terms of Service (Specifically rule #13) in order to find out how many lines of parlor chat they have done, it's up to them. I would think that with the stat checkers realease that gangs would stop offering it to members once they get so and so aces...then again not to many players check the forums.Anyone think that this could hurt a gangs ace average? ---------------------------------------- The winning move is only not to play! |

How many people can actually manage their way around the files on their computers? Fact is, no1's been banned for using the SC yet, and if the topic's been stickied for so long i guess that makes it rather ok. Take this into account : the devs expect us to go on the forums, so when it's right there in our face, they can't ban us for just doing what a mod says. ---------------------------------------- My, Cookie, Nu, Touche. Um... why? Maybe some people just want to know that they are getting close, rather than playing 100s of games without getting anything and then just giving up. The stat checker gives your stats in a very muddled list, and you have to work out what each code means, as well as how close to a badge each one is. It's not as if a popup comes saying "1 more game till killer badge!". You have to find the units killed and units lost line and work out the ratio yourself. Anyway, the list only comes if you ask it to, with /stats or /s. ---------------------------------------- If you're like me, then you should probably seek help. NOW. I'm amazed on how people are still selling Stat Checker for aces. A lot of people still don't know the SC was already full released. There should be another way so that people know it was released already. A 65% of the active players never check forums. ----------------------------------------

Note that it is rule thirteen besides that, the fact someone said you have read ratios and figure out how much items or goals to achieve to earn the badge means it sorta makes it complexed, user-unfriendly and you have to be good with files to enjoy it (or just to see what it is) and then there's the risk of breaking the ToS, makes it un-worthwhile in my opinion I'm certainly not going to use it ---------------------------------------- Alec II (a.ka. My point is that it doesn't have to spoil the surprise of getting a badge if you don't want to. Anyway, if it were breaking the Terms and Conditions, why did they: a) sticky the thread b) lock the thread c) delete the posts that were already on there They quite liked Howdypedia (saved them having to write a long tutorial) so maybe this will appear as an exception on the ToS? ---------------------------------------- If you're like me, then you should probably seek help.
